Peak Child Melville
Peak Child caters to children in emerging middle income families living in South Africa, in pre-schools situated close to parents’ places of work.
A safe and loving environment
Full day, all year round except December holidays
From 3 months to 5 years of age
2 cooked meals a day
So much more than a creche or daycare centre
Our opening hours are from 7:00am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday.
The school only closes during the December school holidays, with the last day of school being around 15th December each year. We open again around the 10th January. Please confirm the exact dates with the school principal.
Our schools will be closed on a Monday if there is a Public Holiday on a Tuesday, and on a Friday if there is a Public Holiday on a Thursday. This enables us to deep clean the school and to perform maintenance while the children are not present.
This Peak Child pre-school caters primarily to the residents of the Stay Melville residential complex. If you are a resident of Stay Melville please contact the accounts department for more information on the fees. Stay Melville has allowed Peak Child to enrol a limited number of children from outside the residential complex.
The monthly school fees for such children are payable in advance, by the 5th of the month. Our 2021 fees are R2,200 per month payable for 11 months of the year, from January to November. No school fees are due for December. Our 2022 fees are R2,300 per month payable for 11 months of the year, from January to November.
There is a 10% discount if you have more than one child at the school. There is also a discount if fees are paid termly in advance. A deposit of R500 is required to secure your child’s position. This will be offset from your final school fees due when your child leaves Peak Child.
